Well, here we are.
7 years into a website I created for our class and then threw away by mistake...I'm SO PROUD!
I love totally wasting dozens of hours of effort, don't you?

Here's a little about David Collins, BHS Class of 1970 and what's been going on in his life:

May 23, 2005 my wife, Rhonda, and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. I am hoping to be able to
take here to the Virgin Islands...NEVER HAPPENED...that will depend on finances. Have you ever noticed when you get a couple of thousand extra dollars set aside...you immediately have a repair or breakdown that costs , within $5.00, exactly what you have set aside?

I am very happy and have been blessed far beyond what I ever will deserve. All 4 of my daughters are just wonderful people.
Karina's becoming a real estate baroness, Joy teaches, Brittney jumps horses and is Olympic material, Brookie has played the drums for 6 years and is  pretty dang good . Rhonda is a stay-at-home Mom, but acts as business admin for a husband-wife Orthodontist-Periodontist team in Lubbock.

I sell for Everest Connections, and really enjoy my job. I work with a bunch of great people. Everest is in the Cable-Internet-Phone
But actually offers service to it's customers. Kind of a new approach.

My Mom passed away November 9, 2005. It has been a real adjustment for our family. My Dad moved up here 1-2006 and is doing great. We almost lost him a couple of times, but he has improved greatly.  My Sis is a big shot in the Orange County Dept of Education.
She and her husband live in San Clemente.

My favorite memories of High School are: The teachers and the friends I had throughout those 4 years. Ray Brown, Linda Beeding Foote, Kelly Klatt, Debbie Jones Jump, Pam Richardson and Sharon Brown Robinson have been great friends in terms of staying in touch these past years. Ruth Seeley Gudgeon often sends a nice note. Linda is responsible for helping me with the website. Her advice is always tremendously helpful. Debbie, Pam and Sharon are always faithful to write. It is always so great to hear from them. Frank Baker writes often, letting me know he's thinking of all of us. Ray and Kelly are two of the best friends I've ever had in my life. Kelly and Samantha are in Orlando and we had a wonderful time together 4 years ago. Kelly, as you know, has done extremely well for himself. Ray Brown is a man I love as if he were my own brother. We have never spent tons of time together, but the bond is there and always will be. I haven't seen Ray since High School
( Hopefully we'll remedy that before long), but if I called Ray and told him I was in trouble and needed $10,000...I would bet you I'd have the money in 24 hours if he had it. I really love you, Bro'. Sometimes you don't know how great your friends were until you are separated from them and have the chance to miss and appreciate them.

Thanks to all of you for adding happy memories to my life. God bless all of you. I love you all and always will.

If you have contact with others in our class, please have them send an email to me at dcollins93@kc.rr.com
and I'll put there name on the mailing list. I'll try to be better about contacting you all this year.

By the way, "Doc" comes from paramedic training about 25 years ago. It became a nickname and just stuck.
